CONVENIO CULTURAL EUROPEO, 1954

En este Convenio se considera objeto de proteccion y salvaguarda el Patrimonio Cultural comun europeo, estableciendo por tanto su existencia.
En el artículo 1 del Convenio se establece claramente la existencia de un Patrimonio Cultural europeo comun, y se obliga a los estados europeos miembros del Consejo de Europa y otros estados adheridos, a la salvaguardarlo y fomentar su desarrollo.

"Artículo 1.
Cada parte contratante adoptará las medidas convenientes para salvaguardar su aportación al patrimonio cultural común de Europa y fomentar su desarrollo."
